Christmas in July

Christmas in July at the Pantry

We are so grateful to our friends at St Susanna for the amazingly generous donation!

Four grocery carts and three flat hand-trucks overflowing with personal care and cleaning supplies. Our clients will be so happy to receive these items which they can’t buy with SNAP (food stamp) benefits.

Thanks to Mary Jo & Jessica for the collection and delivery, too!

Freestore Foodbank to Host Produce Pop-Ups in Partnership With Anthem®

According to the USDA, half of every meal you eat should be made up of fruits and vegetables. However, many families have a difficult time easily accessing fresh fruits and vegetables.

Produce Pop-Ups are scheduled throughout the month of February at the following locations:

  • Tuesday, February 9th starting at 11 a.m. @ The Welcome Project, 2936 Colerain Ave.
  • Wednesday, February 17th starting at 2 p.m. @ Community Action Agency, 1740 Langdon Farm Rd.
  • Monday, February 22nd starting at noon @ Tryed Stone Church, 5550 Reading Road
  • Thursday, February 25th starting at 3 p.m. @ Corinthian Baptist Church, 1920 Tennessee Ave.
