There are many volunteer opportunities, both working directly with clients and behind the scenes, for a few hours when you can, or on a regular basis:
- Bag groceries
- Package food
- Stock shelves
- Clean and organize pantry
- Interview clients
- Make people feel welcome!
- Make a difference in people’s lives!
The 8th grade students at Corryville Catholic School did a great job packing bags and making PB&J sandwiches for their 2024 Lenten service project.
Mrs. Judy Thomas, coordinator of the weekly mentoring program for the sixteen 8th graders at CCS, spearheaded the project. The group followed up with a generous donation of Blessing Bags for our clients without housing, as well as additional volunteer work which included stocking shelves, sorting donations and cleaning the pantry.
