Freestore Foodbank to Host Produce Pop-Ups in Partnership With Anthem®

According to the USDA, half of every meal you eat should be made up of fruits and vegetables. However, many families have a difficult time easily accessing fresh fruits and vegetables.

Freestore Foodbank is working to change this. Produce Pop Ups in partnership with Anthem® bring a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, along with the option to add other items such as bread, to communities in need.

Produce Pop-Ups are scheduled throughout the month of February at the following locations:

  • Tuesday, February 9th starting at 11 a.m. @ The Welcome Project, 2936 Colerain Ave.
  • Wednesday, February 17th starting at 2 p.m. @ Community Action Agency, 1740 Langdon Farm Rd.
  • Monday, February 22nd starting at noon @ Tryed Stone Church, 5550 Reading Road
  • Thursday, February 25th starting at 3 p.m. @ Corinthian Baptist Church, 1920 Tennessee Ave.
